The South Boston - Halifax County Museum is pleased to announce that the museum is producing a comprehensive exhibit about Halifax County. The exhibit will give citizens, their children and all other visitors a detailed experience about living and working in Halifax County for over 250 years. All viewers of the exhibit will come away with an appreciation of the life lead by Halifax County residents in both the good and the bad times. Citizens will gain or reinforce their pride in their county. Children will learn a great deal about the life and times of their ancestors. Tourists, former residents and other visitors will learn to appreciate this Southside Virginia county of historic significance Phase I - An Orientation to Halifax County in general, including: A.
